A few days after posting the photos on social media, KAWS announces the collaboration with the Japanese TV series Hirake! Ponkikki creating a vinyl figure for the end of 2021. KACHAMUKKU’s name born from a combination of the names of Hirake’s characters together! Ponkikki Gachapin and Mukku.
This sculpture is divided in half, on the left is Gachapin and on the right Mukku, while KAWS inserts his traditional detail of the bone-shaped ears and X-shaped eyes.
